   These are the chronicles on the journey of understanding the imagination of China by overseas Chinese. Well, that's me. 3rd (I think, someone correct me.) generation overseas-born Chinese, Teochew, with ancestors from Chao An 'zheng' (town) in Guangdong 'shen' (province) in China. English educated, and brought up with Western lenses on viewing the world.
